Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) appointed former India cricketer Sanjay Bangar as head trainer forward of the impending Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Bangar will take over the position from Mike Hesson, who will proceed with the crew as Director of Cricket Operations. Hesson used to be given further duty as head trainer for the UAE leg of IPL 2021.
