Prithvi Shaw is an Indian cricketer. He was born on November 9, 1999, in Thane, Maharashtra, India. Prithvi Shaw is a right-handed opening batsman and occasional wicket-keeper. He is considered one of the most promising young talents in Indian cricket.

Prithvi Shaw made his first-class debut for Mumbai in 2016, at 17. He quickly established himself as one of the most promising young batsmen in the country, scoring a century on his debut. In 2017, he was named the captain of the India Under-19 team that won the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

In 2018, Prithvi Shaw made his international debut for the Indian cricket team in a Test match against the West Indies. He made a century on his debut, becoming the youngest Indian to score a century on a Test debut. Prithvi Shaw also played for Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League.

In December 2020, Shaw was banned for doping violations after inadvertently consuming a prohibited substance for eight months. He made a comeback in domestic cricket and in February 2021, he made a comeback in the Indian team for the Test series against England.

Prithvi Shaw has been known for his aggressive and fearless approach to batting and has been compared to Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. He is considered one of the future stars of Indian cricket.
