The window for the franchises to retain avid gamers for the VIVO Indian Premier League 2022 season closed on 30th November 2021.
With a complete wage cap of INR 90 crore to be had on the mega public sale for every staff, the 8 franchises have been eligible to retain as much as 4 avid gamers with a most of three Indians, 2 in another country avid gamers and a couple of uncapped Indians.
Every of the 8 franchises used the Participant Retention choice with Chennai Tremendous Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) opting to retain 4 avid gamers every.
