Three batters, each of whom would be the best in most other IPL teams’ lineups.

The concern: their record at Wankhede. Two wins in 14 matches. Their pace bowling attack — effective at home in Hyderabad — has been inconsistent at this venue historically. Mumbai’s heavy evening dew will make the ball slippery for Cummins, Malinga and Hinge in the death overs. And Wankhede’s flat pitch has never been kind to pace bowlers trying to defend totals.
