Toss India decide to bat vs Bangladesh
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur received the toss within the opening sport of the five-match T20I collection and opted to bat towards Bangladesh in Sylhet.
India passed a debut to the big-hitting spin-allrounder S Sajana, the breakout megastar for Mumbai Indians within the 2024 WPL. The guests determined to box a three-spin assault with Deepti Sharma, Shreyanka Patil and Radha Yadav and two pacers in Renuka Singh Thakur and Pooja Vastrakar. Radha, the left-arm spinner, has returned to the XI after greater than a 12 months following an outstanding WPL season. With Richa Ghosh as first-choice keeper, Yastika Bhatia has slotted in as a natural batter.
Bangladesh made two adjustments to the XI that remaining performed towards Australia at house, with top-order batter Sobhana Mostary changing Ritu Moni and offspinner Sultana Khatun coming in for spin allrounder Shorifa Khatun.
Each groups are coming off collection defeats towards Australia and will probably be prepared to get again to shape with an eye fixed at the T20 International Cup scheduled for September-October in Bangladesh.
