IPL 2023: Brian Lara replaces Tom Moody as head trainer of SunRisers Hyderabad

Tom Moody reportedly parted tactics as the top trainer of SunRisers Hyderabad after mutual consent. In the meantime, he has been changed via Windies nice Brian Lara, who will take fee from IPL 2023.

Former Indian Premier League (IPL) champion SunRisers Hyderabad introduced on Saturday that mythical former Windies batter Brian Lara has changed former Australian cricketer Tom Moody because the facet’s head trainer for IPL 2023. It’ll be the 53-year-old’s maiden activity because the trainer of a Twenty20 (T20) facet. The previous Windies captain joined SRH as its strategic marketing consultant and batting trainer closing December.

Moody had a thriving time with SRH between 2013 and 2019, with the facet achieving the playoffs on 5 events and rising champion in 2016. Fellow Australian Trevor Bayliss changed the 56-year-old as head trainer in 2020, and Moody returned to SRH as its director of cricket closing 12 months. Sadly, issues did not flip up neatly for Moody in his 2nd stint as the top trainer, with SRH completing 8th in a 10-team tournament in IPL 2022, with six victories and 8 losses. Moody will now input Desolate tract Vipers, some of the six franchises within the United Arab Emirates (UAE’s) World League T20 (ILT20), after being newly decided on as its director of cricket. The match will likely be held within the Gulf in January 2023.
