Ok’taka guy kills son, dumps frame in water tank over IPL having a bet habit

Kolar: A 32-year-old guy allegedly smothered his 12-year-old son and dumped the frame in a water tank right here, police stated on Thursday. The boy had published about his father’s IPL having a bet habit to his mom.

The accused has been known as Manikanta, a barber. Consistent with police, Nikhil Kumar had informed about his father’s habit of IPL having a bet and enormous monetary losses incurred to his mom which infuriated the accused.

Consistent with police, the accused had misplaced large cash all the way through the IPL season on having a bet. The sufferer Nikhil spotted many cash lenders coming to his father’s store and inquiring for repayments.

He had shared this knowledge together with his mom who puzzled the accused which ended in a significant struggle between the couple.

Enraged over it, the accused took his son on motorbike on Tuesday on pretext of shedding him to university and dedicated the crime. Police stated that he had smothered the boy to dying close to the water tank of Setty Madamangala village in Kolar district. Later, he had dumped the frame into the water tank.

The police first of all presumed it to be a case of drowning and the accused feigned lack of know-how. Alternatively, on being grilled, he confessed to the crime.
